Druid's Fortune Slot
The Magic Orbs are what separate Druid's Fortune from the usual 7x7 cluster slot. Rather than simply attaching multipliers to fixed positions, Croco Gaming has them travel across the board, combine with one another and develop into stronger versions during the bonus. It makes for a considerably busier system than most cascade games, but there is some serious potential behind it, with individual Orbs capable of reaching x10,000 and the game paying as much as 20,000x the bet.
Druid's Fortune takes place in an enchanted woodland filled with druids, crystals and glowing magical effects. The 7x7 grid uses cluster pays, requiring at least 5 connected matching symbols for a win, followed by Cascades that remove those symbols and refill the empty spaces. Bets range from €0.20 to €100, volatility is high and RTP is 96.05%.

Whenever a winning cluster doesn't already contain a Magic Orb, one is created with an initial x1 multiplier. Orbs act as Wilds and remain on the grid following wins, gradually travelling towards the Portal in the centre. Each time an Orb participates in a winning combination, its multiplier increases by x1. Multiple Orbs involved in the same cluster merge together, adding their multiplier values before the resulting Orb is applied to the win. Activating the central Portal through a win can also transport an Orb and relocate the Portal elsewhere on the board.
Three red Crystal Scatters trigger 10 Conjuration Free Spins, with every additional triggering Scatter adding another 2 spins. This is where the Orb system develops further. Blue Orbs can merge into Violet Orbs, which increase by x2 through winning combinations and can boost other Orbs participating in the same win. Combining Violet Orbs creates Red Orbs, which increase by x3 and can improve other Orb multipliers across the grid.
There are several ways to modify or bypass the standard game. Bonus Boost costs 1.25x the normal stake and makes Conjuration six times more likely to trigger, while Power Orbs costs 3x and changes Orb merging so that their multipliers multiply rather than add. Conjuration can be purchased for 50x the bet, with a considerably more expensive Max Win Mode available for 2,000x.
Druid's Fortune asks more from the player than the average cluster release, but there is at least a reason for the added complexity. Watching Orbs travel, grow and eventually merge creates progression within individual sequences, while the Violet and Red upgrades give Conjuration another layer beyond simply carrying the base mechanic into Free Spins.
The RTP isn't particularly impressive and the extreme volatility won't suit everyone, but the 20,000x ceiling provides appropriate headroom for such an aggressive multiplier system. More importantly, Croco Gaming has combined familiar cluster and Wild concepts into something with enough interaction to establish an identity of its own.
