Terrible, terrible base game. Like 10% hit frequency with a usual payout of less than 1x. Boring features, simple graphics and just overall not fun at all. This isn't up to ELK standards.
Nice presentation of the game. Good animations, sounds etc. However I don't enjoy the volatility at all. Feels like a "Maxwin or nowin" kind of slot. There are so many dead bonuses and so far from my testing everything you can buy in the bonus section feels like an awful value (ofc I know I somehow must get to the RTP, but from my testing I was at maybe 30% RTP). Overall just too volatile to a point where casually playing this feels like a waste of money, because the chance for anything fun is just ridiculously tiny.
A step down from the first game in every aspect. The Crypt 1 was already a very teasing and predictive slot, as the features were too OP to not be extremely scripted (I mean 50% of symbols turning into wilds is unbalanced). This already made me dislike the game as the possible progression shown does in fact not represent actual progression. Here is even worse. The "progression" is so simple and bad, that it feels completely irrelevant. Yea, maybe the extra spins you get are nice if the game wasn't just going to add more dead spins in the end. There are so few connections which almost always pay poorly, so much that the whole gameplay feels bland and unexciting.
Pretty fun slot and the first time i've seen clusters pay in this way (not just direct connections). Features are fun and overall the little bit of testing i did was good.
One thing i don't get however is, how a slot with graphics as good as this suddenly stop giving a damn when it comes to the ui. Like the overall Balance and spin button is fine i guess, but the button to select feature bets looks like a WIP feature of a backend developer for quick testing :D
The visuals and sounds of this game are great. The whole presentation is.
However i didn't enjoy playing it that much. Again it felt like these all-or-nothing slots with either 0.2x or 40x basegame hits - overall not enough of these hits in general to make it feel engaging.
The bonuses have quite alot of deadspins and i dont really get excited when unlocking a hidden chest as the features often end in nothing but hot steam.
The part that dislike the most however are the coins in the game. Most of the times they just feel like a waste of space, eventhough i know that this is the only thing in the game that allows you to hit big.
That's also something i dislike with coins in most games. It's an easy way to distribute RTP without putting much efford into any ideas. Not that the game has none, but it's overall often the case, especially in ELK slots but also some Slotmill slots for example.
Overall i don't see myself playing this, however there will still be quite a few people that don't mind the things i talked about.
Love it. I like cluster Slots with lots of ways to remove unwanted symbol. The way all symbols break if one of them is part of the connection just feels super satisfying.
This game just does nothing for me. I don't like the washed out looking visuals. The fact that wilds only stay, if they're part of a connection, how rare it is to see a wild fully expanding, the low hit frequency of free spins, the amount of deadspins, the super low payout of most of the bonuses (10x-15x). It's just annoying to get into a bonus with 20 spins and then watching nothing happen at all. Even if you manage to get wilds, the respins still "cost" a spin, so the bonus can end with multis on the board. I really tried enjoying this, but it's just not fun for me at all.
Im not a fan of the design and the overall gameplay is pretty basic. Bonuses feel like a waste of time because of the amount of deadspins.. While the multi does go up, the wilds get less and less. As soon as you have any decent multiplier, the bonus ends. Makes for pretty frustrating bonuses.
Actually enjoyed testing this. A fun mechanic with the multis and i always love features that remove useless symbols from the grid.
There are enough connections in the bonus to not make it feels like a deadspin simulator, however i think it would be nice if even without the lightning symbol there was a chance for the multi to go up by one, with a low chance whenever symbols are being removed.
Overall fun slot.
This release falls into the definition of a typical Print slot. It has great visuals and a game concept rarely seen in the slot landscape. However, as is often the case with Print slots, the base game falls short. While the bonus rounds are fun (although Joker Troupe still does it a bit better with symbol connections instead of paying scatters), the base game lacks any interesting features. The respins are fine, but not particularly exciting.
Overall, it is a fun bonus-buy slot, but there is still some untouched potential left that could have made this a slot that is also fun to spin.
