Before founding 4ThePLayer, Andrew Porter held a senior content role at Playtech, responsible for the content strategy of 8 studios located in 10 separate companies. 655As well as slots, 4ThePLayer has developed a couple of crypto games. One is 100 Bit Dice, an easy to play dice game offering RTP as high as 99%, and 4ThePLayers first-ever release. The other is 1000x Busta, based on popular Bitcoin Crash Games and adapted for real money casinos. Both offer simple, fast-paced entertainment that provides stacks of data and infographics for numbers people to delve into. Since then, the studio's focus has shifted to video slots, their first being 9K Yeti, released in autumn of 2019. 9K Yeti garnered a fair amount of success built off a solid set of stats, including a generous RTP rating of 97% and a max win figure of 9,012x the bet. The game also introduced 4ThePlayer's Big Reel Portrait Mode, which pushes a larger game window onto mobile device screens to enhance the experience. The studio describes itself as a mobile-first slot provider, meaning players using smartphones are their primary focus. Big Reel Portrait Mode is one example of this attitude, but their games can be played just as well on any device, no matter the screen size.
Other creative mechanics to roll off 4ThePLayer's production include WAYS+PLUS, appearing in the studios' second slot 1 Left Alive to drastically ramp up the ways to win. Then there was 123 Boom's Slot Slider which can technically chain together up to 107 consecutive winning combinations. Their innovations might not always resonate with the gambling community, but 4ThePlayer is definitely not afraid of trying out new ways to entertain the crowd.
In an attempt to gain facetime in front of as many players as possible, 4ThePlayer partnered early on with three well-established studios. These were Yggdrasil via the YGS Masters Program, Light & Wonder, and Relax Gaming on its Silver Bullet platform. This has meant that 4ThePlayer slots have been available to a wide audience through a greater number of online casinos from the word go. From a player's perspective, 4ThePLayer's games typically boast relatively high RTP values, and the company is licensed by the UKGC, so you can be confident you're getting fair, above-board slots. With 4ThePLayers propensity to try new things, players never know what the team will cook up next, making them an exciting studio to keep an eye on.
